I always have very pleasing experience by shopping from just4girls.pk. Like everyone i was a bit afraid to shop something expensive from the store at first, so just for the sake of trying, I ordered MUA bronzer in march/april, that reached me in right shape.


My three purchases-three great experiences

With the first successful purchase, i was encouraged to shop more from here. I therefore ordered for a Remington Blow dryer which is around PKR 4,200. Other than a bit delay in delivery i found no bad point.  Even there is a reason behind this delay. I wouldnot be having this dryer if just4girls.pk hadnot existed. It was not available in Lahore's malls. Or you can say that i didnot want to take risk. There are many fake versions available in local malls/stores of such electronics, hence making it very difficult for a lay man to differentiaite between fake and original.
Contrary to it, just4girls.pk has made its name in reliable shopping in such a little time period. You can trust on the site/store with blind eyes. I placed a special request for the dryer since it wanot available on the website. I had to provid them with the images, model no. and all the further details possible by googling.

I would here like to pay thanks to the customer service representative Hifza, who has always been so kind and helping. The immediate responses of all the queries from her, really push you for a purchase.

My third purchase was the BH-Party girl Palette, that too reached me in perfect shape. The orders/products are all wrapped-up by bubble-sheets with care. I am very happy and satisfied by the working of this store, since it has brought all the branded international cosmetics in everyone's reach. You just pay, and become their fan!

Liz Earle is the brand loved by many. It seriously is worth it. I was offered Liz Earle sheer skin tint moisturiser in shade beach 03.Shade beach 03 is defined as "the medium-to-dark shade, this works well for suntanned, olive tones and a variety of Asian skin tones", by the company. It comes in a 40ml black squeezy tube with a glossy finish. I am in love with glossy tubes and packagings. No doubt, all the packaging of the product is very sophisticated and seems to adjust your mood if you have a decent aesthetic taste.

My Experience
I was very excited to jump into trying the makeup range of Liz Earle, and surprisingly i got my hands on the very most wanted product of the brand couple of months back. Sheer skin tint is packed with SPF 15. It is light weight, but very creamy. I have oily skin and after squeezing a little amount of it from the tube i found myself a bit reluctant to apply it. I was afraid that this creamy mixture would make my skin oily or shiny that i absolutely hate. However, on applying and blending it completely i was happily encouraged to add it into my daily casual routine. It blends well, giving my skin a very glowing dewy but natural finish. It provides light to medium coverage. It will not conceal blemishes, acne marks or pimples. However, the redness or skin irritation (not chronic) will be concealed to some extent. I would strictly suggest you to not to consider it an alternate of your foundations, as it provides only light to medium coverage. If you have naturally flaw-less skin then only you would prefer to skip your foundation.

I use it daily as a tinted moisturiser and not as a foundation.Only a little amount is enough for my whole face. It keeps my skin moisturised and hydrated with a little fancy look. I have my heart for it, since it keeps my skin look naturally glowing. However, i avoid using it when I need good coverage or a party look. I also wear my usual sun block beneath it, as spf 15 isnot enough for the hot climate of my city.

Today, I am going to make all the kids happy, who are consuming lots of their time on the laptops and PCs in summer vacations. JoJo treasure box sent "Khata Saeb" candy for review today :)

My Experince:
Khata saeb candy, as the name sounds is a bit sour, bit sweet in taste. It tastes like a raw apple. Being green in colour, it is so much welcoming for the tastebuds in summers. It comes in a box of 70 pieces. Similar to its siblings Kata lemon and khati strawberry, it also has got an icon ofa naughty fruit on the box. The raw green apple seems in a pretty good mood, with wide opened mouth, tongue out and eyes troubled. This all comine together to suggest a peaky sour taste.

It contains sugar, liquid glucose,citric acid E330, artificial flavour apple& artificial colour E102 (tatrazine ) E133

Spa Ceylon offers extensive hand care range, out of which I got a chance to try & review Cardamom Rose Hand Cream & Cardamom Rose Nail & Cuticle Balm. What sort of experience I had with these two Ceylon's Ayurvedic products? Read below to find out.

Cardamom Rose Hand Cream

It is a white milky solution, of slightly thin consistency with strong but amazing aroma of cardamom. The bottle is semi-transparent plastic made & green. It contains cardamom, rose, honey, virgin coconut and almond- 100% Ayurveda actives.

I found it a light hydrating formula, specially made to moisturise and nourish dry and rough skin. It leaves my hands soft and smooth, even toned with a light herbal fragrance that soothes and relaxes over-worked hands. It doesnot make hands greasy or oily in anyway. Easily blendable and gets absorbed just in few minutes. I prefer applying it at night before i go to sleep to get the maximum benefit of the hand cream. However, it is suggested that the cream should be used several times in a day-everytime after washing hands to notice a quick difference in parched and dry hands. It helps prevent moisture loss & keeps hand fresh and youthful.

Cardamom Rose Nail & Cuticle Treatment Balm

It is semi-sollid, part of it will melt if you keep it in a warm temperature/surroundings. However, if you keep it in air-conditioned room, it will remain semi-solid. It melts in instants when it gets intouch with skin. It has hint of light yellow in it. It smells much like cardamom rose hand cream with the dominent aroma of cardamom. It helps conditions and soften the cuticles whereas treat & repair dry brittle nails.

It contains essential oils for intensive cuticle and nail treatment. It made my cuticles soft and removed the thick ,black lines from cuticles though, it didnot help much in treating the nails. My hand nails have few crinkle lines (i know i need to improve diet), that i had hoped, will be removed with the regular use of this balm. However, I had to face little disappointment. The crinkle lines have been REDUCED, not fully removed. My foot nails are dry, brittle and have developed dark patches that are obvious only when seen carefully. Sadly, the nails still look lusture free and dull. I guess, with an improved diet I need to continue the balm treatment for some more weeks in order to see complete results.

It is to be used at night. I apply it on cuticles and nails with a spare small eye brush by taking a generous amount. Then massage it for few seconds and leave overnight. I also love finishing off my pedicure & menicure with this cuticle balm and soothing hand cream.

Both the products are worth buying since they really live up to the results claimed. If you are a lover of natural aromas in your cosmetics then get your hands on Spa Ceylon's products. I am extremely satisfied with hand cream and partially with the cuticle balm. I am sure, continuing balm treatment for several more weeks will definitely remove my problems, as claimed by the company. Since my foot nails were longtime fogotten by me, I understand nothing can help in a swish of wand. Overall, both the products are recommendable!

I havebeen using Spa Ceylon's green mint cooling foot scrub and green mint cooling foot relief for more than three weeks. Whether or not both the products live upto their expectations, continue reading below to know.

Green Mint Cooling Foot Scrub-(Soothe Foot Care)

It is a granulated thick paste with a soothing smell of fresh mint leaves. It contains, lime peel, dark grapes and volcanic minerals that aim to lighten dark patches, rough skin areas and discolourations. Whereas peppermint and lemongrass essential oils,helps to cool and refresh the feet, also controlling the bad odour rising often from feet.
Since I have to go office daily, my feet were affected severly by the harmful UV rays and therefore, some unwanted dark patches were developed on feet. Also, i rarely get time to pedicure, which makes my feet hard, with those ugly cracked heels. I also got bad marks near ankle, and at the sides of feet due to uncomfortable shoes. However, after using the foot scrub- i noticed that the rough patches and dicolourations are being reduced gradually. This natural purifying formula literally softems, smoothens and revitalise the dead, dull and tired feet. The cooling effect of green mint soothes tired feet and also the tired soul. The scent is quite strong, but I love it. It healed the cracked dark heels, and turning them soft and pink!

It is damn easy to use. I use it twice a week/ sometimes once only. You only need to massage it in circular motion like anyother scrub, focussing extra on rough skin patches. Keep massaging it until it gets dried and starts peeling off by itself. Now wash your feet and see the difference.

Green Mint Cooling Foot Relief

It is a white milky solution, smells soul-wrapping, that is enriched with the benefits of peppermint, virgin coconut, arnica and lime peel to soften and revive tired and dry feet.Almond, soya oil and lemon grass protects against moisture loss, calm and deodorize feet. It is best to be used after scrubbing your feet. Even with the very first application you will notice a soft glow in your feet and a feel of softness you will love to adore. It doesnot make feet greasy,just provide an adequate amount of moisture that our feet deserve. For best results, it should be applied at night before sleeping.

However, i was very disappointed to notice that with in some 5-6 hours of wearing, it started changing its colour and transformed into copper colour from golden. I am sure it will be turning black with in few more uses. The pearl and rhinestone remain unaffected. See below

RINGS:

All the rings I received from the store are cute and lovely. They are not very much detailed. As you can see in the photo, one ring is pearl and rhinestone studded whereas the other has only a golden little bow made on it. The rings are slipable only in very thin fingers. They are non-adjustable, hence you should be very careful to order it for yourself if you donot have "lady-fingers" ;-) Rings are metal made and both are golden in colour. They feel comfortable in fingers.

 Iam very sorry, i couldnt find these rings on the website, therefore I am unable to update the prices here. I'll very soon mention the rates.

SPIKADELIC Bangle



Spikadelic, as they call it-is a wooden bangle, painted green,with metallic copper spikes on it. The size is extreme big. It even passes through my elbow. Moreover, the bangle isnt water resistant- hence leaving off colour in contact with water or light body perspiration. It also spoils your arm and fingers. Honestly speaking i donot like it, it seems more like a monster bangle.

Pros and Cons:

1. If you are into wooden jewelry it is good for you
2. If you want to try out something new, the spikes will definitely attract you
3. Poor colour fastening
4. Extra jumbo size.

Oh scorching rays of sun have been so brutal for last few days in Lahore. Every one is looking dull, with parched dry lips. Seems all the fun is gone with the lovely and colourful spring. Our appetites donot welcome anything heavy,children are being affected mostly. In summers, light snacks and sweets do the job well for our stomachs.

Today I bring the review of summer's light sweet, which is the sure favorite product of not only the young kiddos out there but it may also please the taste buds of the elder ones. JoJo Khati Strawberry is a deliocious strawberry candy, that tastes more like the strawberry smoothy. If you are craving for strawberries in hot and sizzling summers, no worries. Get yourself some khati strawberries and enjoy the real taste of real fruit smoothie.

As mentioned by the name it is slightly sour, but creamy. It tastes like a smooth creamy mixture that melts in the mouth and spreads lusciousness of strawberry within few minutes.

Packaging:
It comes in a colourful pink box that contains 70 candies. Strawberry on the pack looks pretty naughty with big wide eyes and tongue out. The strawbeery caricature has been made on the pack to indicate the sour taste it possess.

Gwen's Hair blend: Light Hair Whip Review

Our hairs need as much attention and care as our face needs. There are different types of hairs that have different moisturising needs. Depending on my hair type that is type 2 (Wavy), i was sent a sample of Gwen's Blend Light hair whip. It claims to moisturise and define frizzy hairs and curls. Light hair whip is a natural mixture of coconut and castor, aloe, shea butter and essential oils.

I used it for myself also I made my mother use it, since the company claims it works equally well for type 3 Kinky-curly hairs. Read below to know about my experience and opinion regarding the hair whip.

Packaging:
It comes in an ordinary plastic jar,with a descrptive product label on it. The lid is also plastic-black in colour. It weighs 0.5 lb. For a hair product, it is quite thick in consistency. The hair whip is white in colour and smells strongly disgusting.

My Experience:

Honestly speaking when I opened up the jar i became strongly disappointed. The two things that take any product up or fetch it down in the powerful competitive market are "Fragrance and Looks". In the light hair whip both are absent. The Light hair whip is to be used on hairs after shower either on slight wet hairs or when they become completely dry. Since it is very thick, I didnot find it welcoming for my hairs. I was hesitsant to apply the thick mixture on my hairs that smell very offensive. It would have been better  if the product intends to nourish hair an-hour-before-shampooing.For many people it may become a big reluctance to apply it on their freshly-showered and clean hairs.

CASE 1- Type 2 Hairs (Wavy).
After first application- that I kept very careful to not to apply any extra amount since I was afraid of my hairs being pulled down. As I mentioned earlier, the hair whip is quite heavy and thick in consistency, it may pull down light hairs. Anyhow, even with this very careful application, my hairs become sticky and gooey, with that unforgettable strong smell of coconut and castor. I  feel hesitant to even dip my fingers in the blend.

P.S The smells fades away with in 3hours of application. However, I found even the three hours difficult to bear with the blend's smell.I still gave enough time for the whip to become dry. I however, found no positive difference in my hairs.

CASE 2- Type 3C (Kinky curly hairs)
My mother has very tight close curls in her hairs. Therefore her hairs are subjected to dryness even more. Light hair whip seemed a good option that could tackle her hair dryness, so I asked my mum to give it a try. She had similar feelings and thoughts regarding the whip's consistency and smell. However this product showed somewhat a better performance on her hairs than mine. Her hairs became less tangled, soft and easy to manage.Unlike mine her hairs didnot get sticky. Still, unfortunately, she had to wash her hairs off due to its smell.

P.S Even after washing off the whip, the hairs remained moisturised and manageable than their original state.

How to use Light Hair Whip?
Take out a very little amount from jar, apply it just below the roots and rake the product throughout the hair length.

The packaging is very sophisticated that offers complete indulgence. All the products came in bone-white bamboo zipup pouch/bag that was safely placed in the black spa ceylon hard-paper box. The box is like a drawer. You need to slide the tray in order to access the pouch along with the other products. The courier service, they deliver through needs much praise and appreciation. It was very quick and fast. I received my package with in 7 days, that I definitely didnot expect. I received my review package through DPEX in collaboration with Skynet-Pakistan.

I will review each product individually after trying them for atleast 2-3 weeks. In this post I want to pay thanks to the customer service and PR team of Spa Ceylon. The entire team, specially the customer service representative is very kind and helping. They kept informing me about the package's expected delivery to Pakistan and also maintained a strong communication with the courier company. I am thankful for the whole Spa Ceylon that didnot only sponsor these products but also bore the expense of the custom duty for me.

My Experience:
Travalo atomizer is easy to use, thatswhat I love about it. We only need two things to care about:

• The place should be flat where one is going to refill the atomizer.
• Keep the lid on while refilling process to avoid any accidental press-sprays and spills.

How to Use: 

• It is as easy to refill the atomizer as making a cup of tea. Simply remove the nozzle of the perfume bottle. Place it on a table/desk or any other strong base. Place the atomizer over the tube and pump it up and down. With in few seconds travalo's patented refill system will fill your atomizer with your favorite perfume.
•  The atomizer sprays a very fine mist of perfume upto 65 times without any spills or wastage.
• It is also aircraft approved, so you may carry it along with you. what more any one can wish for? :)

Today, I have coconut butter to share with you from the brand that makes hand made cosmetics at a very low temperature to retain all of the life energy, vitamins etc.

What is meant by cold-pressed coconut oil/butter?
When i got to know about cold-pressed coconut butter, i was intrigued to know about the term "Cold-Pressed". I was satisfied to find out, that cold-pressing is the most proper option used for the extraction of coconut oil. Unlike, boiling method of extraction, cold pressing, retains all the nutrients in the product without destroying them by intense heating. Hence, it is the first strong point that will make you move towards Raw Gaia's cold-pressed coconut butter.

Packaging:

It comes in the glass jar of 90grams with a yellow label on it. It is almost fragrance free when solid. It appears solid white in the butter form, whereas completely crystal transparent at its oil state.
You may get the benefits of both the coconut oil and coconut butter from the single jar. If you want to use it as a hair conditioner, keep it on a room temperature. On the other hand, if you desire to use it as a body butter then you would like to refrigerate it after opening.

My Experience:

• As the coconut-oil

I have been using it for more than a month now as a hair conditioner. Simply keep it on a room temperature, and use when desired. I normally use it as an alternate of my oiling routine. I dip my finger tips in the cold pressed coconut oil and massage it in the roots of my hairs. I found leaving it for hour or two in hairs is enough for medium to dry hair type. After shampooing, I love to feel the touch of my hairs. Coconut oil leaves my irs well-hydrated and protect my hairs from being di-shevelled.

• As the coconut butter

According to the company, it makes the skin softer and smoother by penetrating into the deeper layers. It also removes the dead skin cells and act as an antioxidant.
I made my mum use it, who has a very dry flaky skin even in the summers. She keeps developing white patches on her face and her conditions more seems like a medical one. When she applies it on her skin, the skin instantly turns into a soft, smooth and supple skin that glows pink. Only a little amount is needed to apply on face. Donot worry it doesnot make face look like an oil factory. However, I would not recommend to use it on oily skins in the summer season. I am seriously reluctant to use it on my skin since the temperature here iin summers remains more than 35C. I wish I had got it in winters to try as a body butter.

• Improves dry skinand make it glow healthily, turn it pink and soft

How about being sweet again? Its been quite some time I reviewed any sweet-0-luscious item for you. So let us jump back from cosmetics to a sweet little treat.

As you all know I was sent some products by JoJo foods and exporters for review purpose. Therefore, today the product I am going to share you with is "Khata Lemon- Candy"

Khata Lemon candy belongs to the candy family of JoJo foods. The other siblings of khata lemon candy are khata saeb, khato strawberry and khati orange candy.


Packaging:
It comes in a rectangular yellow box alike other chews and candies of Jojo. The box is yellow and orange in color. It has got a naughty lemon on the box which is winking at you ;). It seems that the lemon is aware of its sizzling sour taste and so is compelled to wink ;). Khata lemon is written with white bold text. The pack contains 70 individual candies.


My Experience:

If someone asks for my favorite sweet , I would definitely pick khata lemon without giving a second thought. It tastes sweet, since it is a candy- but is more sour as mentioned by its name. It tastes like the drink "FANTA/MIRINDA" so has become my all time favorite. To enjoy the candy most, I would recommend sucking the candy instead of chewing it.

It contains sugar, liquid glucose, citric acid E330, artificial flavor Lemon and artificial colour E102 (tatrazine). I noticed that it contains less ingredients as compared to the other jojo products.

However, Liz has successfully won the hearts of eastern consumers too.After trying several skin care products from Liz, I planned to give a try to Liz Earle's Hand Repair. Read below to learn about my thoughts and experience regarding it.

Packaging:
Like  most of Liz Earle products it also comes in a cylindrical pump bottle that is sky blue in colour. The pump, pumps out enough amount to be applied on hands in a single pump. The girth of a bottle is user-friendly and stays in hands firmly without any trouble. The bottle is matte, so doesn't slip from the grip. The pump is covered by a small pull-off lid.

My Experience
The naturally active hand repair contains soothing echinacea, toning hops, plus antioxidants beta-carotene and natural source vitamin E. Echinacea is considered the major element in its formulation since it is responsible for skin regeneration, heal wounds, inflammation and skin infections. It belongs to the daisy family. Whereas Vitamin E has innumerable skin benefits such as fading scars etc. Being an antioxidant, it also makes skin look younger and glowing.

It is a thick white creamy but non greasy formula, that gets absorbed in the skin easily by leaving a herbal scent behind. It smells like cinnamon to me. Since it is non-greasy it has become the best moisturizer for my skin even in summer season. My hands become itchy, partially dry in summers. Using this healthy formula, leaves my hands skin soft and supple, that I really love to feel the touch of. It is suitable for all skin types for both summers and winters. I have been using it for some 15 days, and I am really satisfied with how my hands look and feel now.
