Why :(?

Many times it happen that we keep on praying for something but we don't get it. I have heard it many times from my elders that if you are not getting the thing of your choice then don't lose hope Allah has something much better for you.Just wait for the right time. But can anyone tell me what is the right time? And why, the right times comes after the actual right time passes? Obviously, if we are in need of something and praying for it, it means that we want it now! not after ages! But well, we have to be happy what Allah wills as we are Muslims! and we cant do anything if He doesn't want anything to happen like we want.We are help less!
But i just sometimes feel so lonely!Where to go, even if Allah is not answering you? You cant even commit suicide as it is Haram. Then what a frustrated man should do?Allah is the only hope for us and we have firm belief on Him.But we are HUMANS not ANGELS! we want our prayers to be answered! We want to accomplish what we want and even more after asking and begging something from Allah!Allah is the king, nothing is difficult for Him, than why does He makes us wait so much :(?
Plus,it seems that Allah likes testing those people who are trying their best to follow the right path, but difficulties come in their way! Why it happens to those only who are trying to follow Allah's rules already??All say that its "AZMAISH" but why Azmaish is only for the right people :(?There are many people who are engaged in every sort of wrong deeds but no obstacle comes in their way!
Allah has said that if you are being grateful to me I'll bless you with even more! but why this has proven wrong when it comes to us :(? I literally want to cry now..This is the first random post from me.. i m just posting thoughts whatever is coming in my mind...because i'm feeling LOST!!!

Whenever i say this all to mom, she starts scolding me terribly.. she doesn't hear my problem. She is very religious, so she cant bear to hear it..
Thereis no one to hear my mental problem except you all..

May Allah answer our prayers,May Allah save us..

hmm...My MAKER....has the power...HE is MIGHT and GENEROUS and much more.....

Only...if we can wait...the problem with humans are...they cant wait...wait for their time and wait for MY MAKER to work for us....

Your post....I remembered those time when I was also...very very in need of something and I asked for it...so many times...so many prayers...so many cries....

Still I didn't get that...than I start follow....

I wanted to know how ALLAH's machinery work...

And I was surprised that HE gave me the thing but in HIS own way of pleasant and surprising manner....

Only once I had prayed for something...I have to WAIT....

WAIT for HIM to start making the whole story behind it...so that we can say...we got this thing because we suffer or being tested by ALLAH this this much and than be contented that we didn't get what we mean by hook or crook....

We worked for it....

WAIT deari.....WAIT....with pateince.....

This is the true virtue behind us.....MUSLIMS.

hmmm....

Thinking,Thats what we are doing.. waiting waiting and waiting... Don't know what has he written in our fates..
I just wish that Allah shouldn't snatch something after blessing his human with something, but well who m i to wish so..
we can only be encouraged to ask more and more from Allah if we feel that our prayers are being answered..But if not, than how can we be encourage to raise hands the next time?Every thing has limits.. patience too..
I'm not a sufi,not a prophet,not an angel.. m just a human, below the average..
I want Allah to be with me all the time...

Dear,

So interesting that just after I posted mine on prayer (started a week ago so scroll down in the blogs: A Hundred Ways to Pray)

Try this: stop asking for awhile...it's hard when there's so much to ask for - each day - for each of us and for all our concerns...

There are NOT the kind of answers we usually want the way we usually want them...

Yet there is the relationship to the Beloved, Allah, our ONE and only God and ultimate LOVER...

IF I trust and believe that HE it is who loves me and others so much deeper, better and longer than I do myself...and I dance-prayer (inside silently or even outwardly alone) then sooner or later...

The Holy Spirit gives me "permission" to pray for someone...even gives me a little knowledge and a special prayer for that person...

And lo and behold sometimes Allah gives me just a little bit of "something special" to let me know that my prayer really did go to Allah together with the Holy Spirit's prayer and had some kind of benefit...

Yet better not to know exactly when, how or if ... yet to enjoy the surprises in Allah's very own way and time...

I still feel LOST sometimes...yet I utilize prayer as a compass to get back "HOME"...

I'm here for you, anyway, ReeBz...

And sometimes getting "HOME" is partly connecting here with you and the other sisters and brothers and friends at RR...

Hey how interesting that JUST as I'm ending comment, Thinking has just commented and is "thinking" rather along the same lines...
So your two friends are here for you in this sometimes elusive garden of prayer, holding your hands and letting you know we know what you are going through or dear sister...

i just checked your blog post and its full of hope. Its indeed beautiful!
and i specially loved the following

Prayer Wings

Look at the birds. Even flying
is born

out of nothing. The first sky
is inside you, open

at either end of day.
The work of wings

was always freedom, fastening
one heart to every falling thing.

Please use prayer as a power, as a hope and not as a wish. When we use prayer as a wish we lose control over it. When we use it as hope, we find ourselves in an optimistic frame that generates a positive energy and fills the vacuum that is there which led us towards that prayer with positivity and light . If we use prayer as a mere wish and that wish takes a longer time to be granted, the vacuum that lies there is filled by pessimism, remorse and dejection. Nothing in life is more detrimental and defeating than losing hope.

For prayers to be granted there is a time and preparedness please don’t compare yourself with others as you might not know their complete package.

Thank you sir, for your wise advise.
There were times when i would consider prayer a "hope" not a wish.. but continuous failure in the acceptance of prayers brought a change in me.. Hope has lost and wishes are too many to be achieved..
But yes i agree with you, that when we use prayer as a hope, we find ourselves in an optimistic frame and delight.I could feel it.. I hope this quality comes back to me..

Wise distinctions and advise indeed...and loving discussion from all.

Yes, this quality will come back to you, ReeBz, going by your nature and openness to fine-tuning...
