Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator: Claims Justified!

Even though we cleanse, tone and moisturize our skins daily, we must not neglect the importance of exfoliation once/twice or thrice a week depending on our skin types. It is a fact that a cleanser is needed for removing the surface dirt from your face whereas toning is done to finish off the process in order to avoid future bacteria accumulation in pores. With proper moisturizing, our facial skin that is so delicate and important, screams for exfoliation.

In absence of proper exfoliation, we are leaving our skins vulnerable to following:
  • Clogged Pores
  • Uneven Texture and Skin Tone
  • Dullness
  • Acne
Exfoliation makes skin healthier, glowing and leaves it soft and supple. In order to achieve smooth skin,  importance of exfoliation cannot be ignored. The purpose that lies behind exfoliation is the removal of dead cells that causes our skin look pale, unattractive and dull. From scrubs to peels, one can go for any of the several options available for exfoliation. I was lucky enough to get an excellent gentle face exfoliator from the famous botanical brand of Liz Earle. It is enriched with micro jojoba beads, purifying eucalyptus, and skin softening cocoa butter. I love Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator because it contains jojoba beads that are not only known for its skin brightening abilities, but also provide protection from free-radicals production.

It comes in a cylindrical pump bottle similar to that of Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. The bottle's colour make it even more elegant. I simply take a pump or two of the product and gently massage it in circular motions with the finger tips. This stimulates blood circulation and gives a healthy pinkish glow.My skin is congested more at chin and forehead, therefore as advised I focus more on the congested areas. The micro jojoba beads roll over face smoothly during massage, giving a relaxing and soothing sensation. Since they are soft, they gently buff away dead skin cells and impurities without rupturing skin. Cocoa butter adds more benefits, since it leaves skin smooth and fresh.

It gives best result after cleansing, since cleanser removes the surface dirt. After cleansing the next step should be exfoliation. If you are planning to put on any masks or face pack, exfoliate with Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator first! It pampers you by paving ways for masks to go beneath your skin and fetch out the impurities stocking in your lower skin layers.Seal lock your opened pores with Liz Earle Instant Skin Boost Tonic and Moisturizer.

How Frequently Should It Be Used:
People with different skins may have different exfoliation needs. If you have dry skin, exfoliating once a week will be okay. Too much exfoliation will make your skin dry, because its only purpose is to remove dead skin cells. Dead skin cells of course take sometime in the formation. Watch out, if you are removing too much of your living cells in craze of exfoliation! People with oily skin including me find it essential to exfoliate twice in winters and thrice a week in summer. Oily skins are more prone to clogged pores and breakouts specially in hot summers, where temperature loves shooting up 45 degree Celsius.

Suitability:
It is suitable for all skin types, however people with sensitive skin should test it before picking it as their skin care regimen.

Price:
£13.00 for 70 ml/e 2.3 fl.oz pump bottle
Buy it online here or join FB page if you are a real crazy fan of Liz Earle like me and do not want to miss any updates.

I found it an extremely good exfoliator, so yes the claims made by the company are justified. If you want an exfoliator that doesn't play harsh with your skin, then I will suggest you Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator to deal with your skin problems!!

Dear Fakiha

I hope it will it dry out the skin. Just follow the right dates for exfoliation and keep a balance. If you over do, fault will be yours only.
