Instant Virus Killer – The First Ever Pakistani Anti-virus

My first article for "Pakiology".

We know that the Pakistanis are talented and genius in their fields. Be it the armed forces or the scientists, the educationalists or the researchers, the sportsmen or the software developers, we HAVE some of the finest brains in our country. Our people can do anything. what we only need is some motivation and opportunities.

It was in 1986 when the world saw the first computer VIRUS, created by Farooq Alvi brothers from Lahore, Pakistan. They named it Brain and it was a boot sector computer virus that wildly spread across the world. Then started the war between Viruses and their killer anti-viruses. This time two bright-stars of Pakistan, Hafiz Usman and Imran have made the first ever Pakistani Anti-Virus which is registered with the Government of Pakistan. The development of this anti virus is completely done by The Real Soft, a Pakistani Software Solutions providing company. They are calling it “Instant Virus killer”.
The developers claim that this anti virus can kill ANY virus immediately. Moreover, it can also recover the lost data with in seconds. This anti-virus can also fix the reboot issues of Microsoft Windows affected by the virus and is capable of giving 90% protection against web, USBs and pirated CD-viruses.
Instant virus-killer is not free and it has NO trial version available in market. The per license cost of the anti-virus is Rs 2000. The anti-virus can be tested at the developers’ office which is located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, Pakistan. The complete  address is; Showroom No.2, SB-32, Block-13C, Opposite Urdu Science College, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, Pakistan.
Hereis the official website of this anti-virus while  this is the official website of The Real Soft. You can also join the official facebook group of the anti-virus here. One of the developers, Mr Hafiz Usman can be contacted through his email address, It is indeed a powerful anti-virus and should be used in offices, schools, colleges and even for the security of domestic computer systems but we believe that the developers SHOULD launch a 15 day trial version. A trial version always makes it easier for the costumer to test and buy the product.
The developers now plan to make an operating system in near future. wishes them best of luck.

How unique and interesting. I enjoyed the juxtaposition of the FIRST VIRUS and the FIRST ANTI-VIRUS. I was just telling my husband today how unusually intelligent I find Pakistani people to be. You, for example, ReeBz. All the best for a marvelously well-suited career as you are close to trying out the fit.

Thanks Connie for your immediate appreciation and the concern you have for Pakistan and for Pakistanis.
I've learned a lot from you and i hope you'll keep me helping in the future as well.
No doubt Pakistan is full of talent but most of the time, these bright stars don't get proper funds from the government side and most of them fly abroad with their talent..A side side of the story infact!

Instant Virus Killer was launched earlier as well but at that time it got flopped and the project was closed.
Glad to see it's back. I hope it gets more success this time.

I agree that there should be a trial version for this programme. I'm more for a Free version with Basic features and a Premium version with more features and functionality!

However they do have a reason for not providing any trial. Trial versions open way for programmes and hackers who create cracks for the programme.

However, careful and disinclusion of the entire programme in the trial can solve their problem.

Let's see... :)

ReeBz, this is very well structured post, that has been thoughtfully written and exquisitely executed, and I really liked this sentence:

“Our people can do anything. what we only need is some motivation and opportunities

This guy is most probably nothing like this wild American...just the same genius perhaps or only the same pursuit? (I just happened upon the article and tho't you may be interested?) Anyway a good plot for a short story perhaps? Combo of your guy and this one?

Sir Akhter
Thanks for commenting.
Though the article was written by me, but it was even more enriched with beauty by the editors of "Pakiology".

Connie thanks for sharing the links :)
I'm reading the whole story :)

Don't be worried about a little editing nor feel you must always mention that...many great writers have depended heavily on editing...Bob Herbert Op Ed writer at the NYTimes says his constant editor MAKES his writing what it is...and the great writer of Look Homeward Angel...from near where I live - Thomas Wolf - had an editor who spared his writing down a third in order to publish! That's what I'm going to need soon enough...

Hamza thanks for coming and for comments :)

Thanks you, actually first time i felt that this article is not fully by me and if it is well written then credit is not all mine, er don't know but i was feeling a bit weird in collecting all the applause myself alone :D
I know in the writing profession its a routine work that many big famous writers' articles get edited according to the space available and many other factors, but you know its my first time.. next time I'll surely not mention the editors skills :D

Thanks once again for being so nice and caring always :)

wooww you are going to get an editor too :)?

wow I am reading it very late. O_O
But seriously. Pakistan has as much talent as any other talented country.

It is just no promoted that much. Pakistani government doesn't help the talented ones to rise up.

They have to do rally hard work to get up and actually get their talent appreciated.

Nice Post.
